Project Description

Kay wanted a kitchen for entertaining her friends

Kay is the Managing Director of a successful Marketing company and the owner of a very unique and beautiful riverside home. Time had come for a new kitchen and entertaining area, alongside a few other refurbishments to refresh and modernise her tiered-level living areas. As a single mum, Kay has worked hard to be financially secure and independent, so she was keen to spend her hard-earned money wisely and wanted to ensure she could design her space for maximum effect, whilst getting the best value for her investment.Xtenda had recently completed a new extension and house refurbishment in Stone for Kay’s mum and dad, whom had just moved back to the UK from Cyprus, so Xtenda were already on her radar and she had seen first-hand the quality of our work.

“This was the second project I’d worked with John, Aly and the Xtenda team on – a complete kitchen rebuild and installation. As previously, their attention to detail, project management and client liaison were exceptional and the outcome better than I could ever have imagined! I would definitely choose Xtenda again.”

Managing Partner and Project Manager John Davidson designed, supplied and built Kay a new kitchen with true WOW Factor! Reconfiguring the layout of the room to bring in more light and reposition the working areas, Xtenda also added new doorways to create a walkway out onto the first floor balcony and decking area.Whilst working on the project, we uncovered some structural and potential security threats to the building and, with Kay’s instruction, we made sure that her property was left in a much stronger and safer position for her.Kay now loves entertaining guests in this large, open space with views across the River Trent and has lots more refurbishment work planned with Xtenda in the coming months!
